During university time, he co-founded and Chaired National University of Toronto Business Plan Competition (2004-2008, Four Terms), with the impressive and highly appreciated supports from four generations of incredibly hardworking volunteer teams, TSX Venture Exchange, Rotman school professors and Dean, and University level leaders, prominent Canadian entrepreneurs and CEOs of the largest Canadian financial institutions. Richard observed the power of community supports, experienced the strength of teamwork, and learned the importance of serving for a broader purpose.
